Claude connector · Chrome extension

Apply to jobs by pasting a link.

Paste a posting into Claude. The Appwing extension fills the application form from your profile, and Claude writes the answers that require judgement. Nothing is submitted until you approve a screenshot of the completed form.

Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable and more.

  • Identity-only sign-in
  • The server never reads your email
  • No trackers, no advertising, no data sales
An illustration, not a screenshot, of what Appwing puts on a job posting. A Greenhouse application form has five fields Appwing filled — full name, email, two work-authorization questions and an open-ended answer — each marked with a solid rule. A sixth, "Which office would you prefer?", is marked with a dashed rule and left blank. A panel in the corner reads "Filled 5 of 6 fields — 1 needs your input" and names the unanswered question. Along the bottom, a label reads "waiting for your approval" beside an approve and submit button.
How it works

Every application goes through three steps.

Each step is handled by the part suited to it. Code fills the facts, Claude writes the answers that require judgement, and you decide whether to submit.

The extension fills the form

Name, contact details, location, work authorization, sponsorship and EEO questions are filled from your profile by code rather than by a model. The same profile produces the same answers every time.

Claude writes the rest

Some questions cannot be answered from a profile field, such as why you want the role or how your experience applies to it. Claude writes those answers from your profile and the posting.

You approve

Appwing then stops and sends you a screenshot of the completed form. You can submit it, edit it, or cancel. Captchas and logins are handed back to you.

Appwing never submits an application on its own. There is no setting that disables this.

Tailored resumes

Tailored resumes are checked against your profile.

Every tailored resume is built from your profile and then checked against it line by line before it is used. A statement with no source in your profile is removed. If it cannot be removed, the resume is rejected.

  • Appwing can select, order and rephrase the material in your profile for a specific posting
  • Appwing cannot add a title, date, metric or tool that is not in your profile
  • Dates, employers and job titles are copied, never generated
  • You review the finished document before it is attached to an application
An illustration of the resume validator: a two-column table pairing each line of a tailored resume with the profile field it came from. "Staff Engineer, Payments — Northwind" traces to the title and employer of the second experience entry; "Cut checkout latency 42 percent" traces to a bullet on that same entry; the skills line traces to the skills list. A fourth line, "Led a team of 12 engineers", has no source in the profile and is struck through and marked removed. A footer reads "3 of 4 lines verified, 1 removed".
Tracker

Every application, tracked in one place.

Each approved application is recorded with the posting, the answers that were sent, the tailored resume and the approval screenshot. A Kanban board tracks it from applied to offer.

  • Move a card on the board, or tell Claude "I heard back from Acme"
  • Every status change is recorded with a timestamp
  • Ask Claude which applications need a follow-up
  • The screenshot you approved stays attached to the application
An illustration of the application tracker as a Kanban board with four columns. "Applied" holds seven applications, three of them shown: Staff Engineer at Northwind, Backend Engineer at Globex, Platform Engineer at Initech. "Screening" holds three, including Senior SRE at Acme. "Interview" holds two, with Staff Engineer at Hooli highlighted as the card being moved. "Offer" holds one, Principal Engineer at Stark.
Privacy

What we store, and what we do not.

This is a summary of the privacy policy. Each point below is enforced by how the product is built.

Identity-only sign-in

Sign-in uses Google OAuth with the identity scopes only: openid, email and profile. Appwing requests no permission to read your data in any other service.

The server never reads your email

Appwing holds no Gmail credential and requests no Gmail scope. If you connect Gmail to Claude, that connection is between you and Anthropic. Appwing stores only what Claude writes into your tracker.

No trackers, no advertising, no data sales

There is no analytics script on this page and no third-party code in the extension. Your profile and resume are never sold, shared, or used for training.

Nothing is submitted without your approval

An application is submitted only after you approve the screenshot. Captchas and logins are handed back to you. Deleting your data removes it from storage.

Setup

Set up Appwing in four steps.

Two installations and a profile. The connector provides Claude with the tools. The extension fills the form.

Add the connector

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http appwing https://mcp.appwing.us/mcp

On Claude Desktop or claude.ai, open Add custom connector and paste the same URL: https://mcp.appwing.us/mcp

Claude opens a Google sign-in the first time you use it. Identity scopes only.

Build your profile

Sign in and upload a resume. Appwing reads it and then asks for the details it does not contain, such as the work-authorization and demographic answers that applications require.

Open the dashboard

Install the extension

The extension is loaded unpacked in Chrome. Unzip the download, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked and choose the appwing-extension folder.

Download the extension

Apply to a posting

Apply to this job: <paste the job link>

Claude opens the posting, the extension fills the form, and the application is submitted once you approve the screenshot. You can also ask "What is in my pipeline?" or "Which applications need a follow-up?"

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can Appwing submit an application without me?

No. Submission requires your approval of a screenshot of the completed form, and there is no setting that removes that requirement. If you close the tab, nothing is sent.

Which application sites are supported?

Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable and others. The extension runs only on the sites listed in its manifest and is not loaded on any other page you visit.

Can Claude add information to my resume?

No. Tailored resumes are validated line by line against the profile you supplied, and a line with no source is removed rather than rewritten. Claude can select and rephrase your experience, but it cannot add to it.

Do you read my email to track applications?

No. Appwing holds no Gmail credential and requests no Gmail scope. If you have connected Gmail to Claude, Claude can read it and record what it finds in your tracker. That connection is between you and Anthropic.

Why is the extension a zip instead of a store listing?

The extension has not completed Chrome Web Store review. Download it and load it unpacked with Developer mode. A store listing will replace this step once the review is complete.

What happens to captchas and logins?

They are handed back to you. Appwing does not attempt to solve a captcha or enter a password. Sign-in to Appwing itself uses Google OAuth, so Appwing never sees your passwords.

Build your profile once, then apply by pasting a link.

Add the connector, install the extension, and approve every application before it is submitted.
