Appwing Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Appwing (appwing.us), including the dashboard, the Claude connector and the browser extension. Using Appwing means you accept them. What Appwing stores and what it never collects is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

What Appwing is

Appwing is an internship-application assistant. You build a profile, upload a resume, and Appwing fills internship applications from it, tailors resumes from your own material, and keeps a tracker of what you applied to. Forms are filled through the browser extension, and nothing is submitted without your approval of a screenshot of the completed form.

Your account

• Sign-in is Google. Appwing has no password of yours and no way to set one.
• One account per person. Accounts are not shared, resold or operated on someone else's behalf.
• You are responsible for your account. Keep your Google account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can read your profile and your tracker.
• You must be old enough to work. Appwing is for people applying to internships, and it is not for children.

The subscription

A new account gets 7 days free, with no card. During the trial you may log 100 applications and build 5 tailored resumes a day. Applications Appwing imports from your own history are not counted against either number, and an application you delete stops counting straight away.

After the trial, Appwing Plus is $20 a month. It removes the caps and it is what building and editing a tailored resume requires. If you do not subscribe, your account keeps working: the tracker, the profile and the application board stay free, with 100 new applications a month. Nothing you saved is deleted when the trial ends.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You give your card to Stripe, not to us — Appwing never sees your card number. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

Cancel any time from the billing portal, which opens from the dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a month. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and Appwing keeps working while it does; if the retries fail, the subscription ends and the account returns to the free monthly allowance.

Prices can change. If the price of a plan you are on changes, we will say so on this page and on the pricing section of appwing.us before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

How you may use it

• Apply as yourself. The profile you build and every answer Appwing fills in must be true about you. Do not misrepresent your experience, your identity or your work authorization.
• You approve every submission. You own what is submitted under your name, and you are the one who decides it is correct before it goes.
• No automated abuse. Do not script the product, resell access, run it for other people's accounts, or use it to send bulk applications you have not read.
• Respect the sites you apply on. Employers and application systems have their own terms, and Appwing does not override them.
• No attacks on the service. No probing, scraping, or attempts to reach another account's data.

Your content

Your profile, your resumes and your tracker are yours. You keep every right in them. Appwing stores and processes them for one purpose: to run the service for you — to fill applications you start, to tailor a resume from material you provided, and to keep your record of where you applied. We do not use your resume to train models, and we do not sell or share your data.

You can delete your resume or profile from the dashboard at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything with it. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

What Appwing does not promise

• No guaranteed outcome. Appwing helps you apply. It cannot promise an internship, an interview or a reply.
• Third-party services. Claude is Anthropic's, and the internship boards and application systems Appwing fills belong to their operators. They change without notice, they can be down, and a form that worked last week can stop working. Appwing does not control any of them.
• Review model output. A tailored resume is built from your profile and validated against it, and it is still a draft you are expected to read before it is sent.
• The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and accurate, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Appwing is not liable for lost opportunities, lost applications or indirect losses arising from your use of the service.

Closing your account

You can stop using Appwing whenever you like: cancel the subscription from the billing portal, and ask us to delete the account when you want it gone. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules above, or that we are required to close by law. If we close your account for a reason other than those rules, we refund the unused part of the month.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a change is material, it applies from the date it is posted, and continuing to use Appwing after that date means you accept it.
